We’re looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our team for a full-time position based out of the Peace River, AB office. As our Projects Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and thriving work environment for our paramedics.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and implement strategies aligned with the company’s values and business goals
- Administer operational functions of Ground Ambulance, Medical Standby, NEMT, Health and Safety, Quality Improvement, and Accreditation.
- Provide leadership, training, and ongoing coaching to supervisory staff to elevate performance and team effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and manage new operational projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and maintain up-to-date with policies and procedures
- Advise the Senior Leadership Team on trends, risks, and opportunities
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, recognition, and results consistent with the short- and long-term goals of APL
- Drive initiatives that support a healthy, engaged, and communicative workplace culture
- Coach and mentor employees; provide guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
Position requirements and skills
- Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience. (In a medical profession is considered an asset.)
- The position is based out of the Peace River office.
- Travel is required to APL locations as needed (Cadotte Lake, Edmonton)
- Education in business administration or project management or a related discipline preferred.
- Medical Professional (PCP, ACP, RN) experience is in asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication, listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and a 3-year history driver’s abstract
- Clean criminal record check
