Please join us in congratulating Jessie Roy on her Peer Recognition Award win this term.
Jessie is being recognized for going the extra mile and for her distinguished service. She is known as the backbone of the Grande Prairie base. Her co-workers have enjoyed partnering with her over the years and say that she always goes above and beyond. She constantly cleans and organizes the base, fills out inventory/check sheets, ensures the oxygen supply is up to par, etc. She is always willing to take on the ride-along students and orientees, and she is eager to teach and approaches everyone with a friendly and polite presence.
She recently took on the role of Shift Lead, which adds even more to her workload. She dedicates a lot of her personal time to carrying out this role. She is seen as the mother hen of the Grande Prairie base; she ensures everything is as it should be and that everyone is taken care of.
