“On April 11th we got up early and left the hotel at 0800. We got on a bus and drove 3 hours to a small community called Navolato, Sinaloa.
Our final full day was yesterday. We basically rested as we travel home today. We went to the Mazatlan Aquarium yesterday – all paid for by the local Rotary Club as a gift to us. We swam with the sharks and enjoyed most of the day there.
We attended our final farewell dinner hosted by the Mazatlan Rotary Clubs. It was a memorable celebration with our many new friends that we have made along the way.
We are looking forward to coming back home to reality. It’s been wonderful, but it’s time…”
