Highway to Mexico Media Day on March 20th from 2:00pm – 3:30pm at the Holiday Inn Grande Prairie-Conference Ctr!
The Highway to Mexico Project will showcase the 10 vehicles that will form this year’s convoy that will all be donated. This year the convoy consists of 1 Aerial Ladder Fire Truck, 1 Fire Rescue Truck, 1 Fire Department Support Van, 3 School Buses and 4 Ambulances. In addition, there will be 100 wheel chairs, assorted fire protective clothing and fire fighting gear, over 250 soccer uniforms and shoes and numerous other gear that was donated from municipalities, associations and private donors.
We are extremely happy to be involved in this cooperative initiative with Rotary Peace River. Please stop by the Holiday Inn and Suites in Grande Prairie on the 20th to check out the vehicles and meet the drivers. Our drivers are CEO Stephen Woodburn and Operations Manager Tim Ljuden!
