Services

The Alberta Air Ambulance Program is a province-wide system of direct delivery and contracted air carriers and medical crews. Since 2002, APL has been one of the preferred Air Medical Crew contract providers for Alberta.

APL has serviced the Woodland Cree First Nation communities of Cadotte Lake and Little Buffalo with quality ground EMS services since 2018. The ground ambulance crew is stationed in the community of Cadotte Lake and dispatched by the provincial E-911 system.

Industrial Medical Services is where APL started and built itself an excellent reputation in the industry. APL provides Industrial Medical Support from locations in Edmonton, Grande Prairie and Peace River where medical personnel and equipment can be deployed to remote locations with low to high hazard work.

APL provides Advanced Care Paramedics and Primary Care Paramedics to the Northern Remote Communities within the Little Red River Cree Nation. This essential work involves ACP’s and PCP’s to provide Health-Care, support and clinical care to community members in Fox Lake, John D’or Prairie and Garden River at the Health Center.

Special events are important for any community to thrive. They give community members the opportunity to bond and become unified.

Much like Special Events, APL’s Non-Emergent Medical Transport program was started in Peace River during the 2015 Oil & Gas industry downturn. This service was started as an effort to retain local staff and create an additional revenue opportunity.
